See Conversations as They Happen
Visual hearing glasses use microphones, speech recognition and a small digital display to convert spoken words into readable text. They may also be described as live caption glasses, speech-to-text glasses, captioning glasses, AI caption glasses or smart glasses for deaf and hard-of-hearing users. Unlike traditional hearing aids, caption glasses generally provide visual text rather than amplifying sound.
Even Realities G2 Caption Glasses, Fitted With Your Prescription
Uptown Eye Boutique in Johns Creek, GA fits Even Realities G2 smart glasses for deaf and hard-of-hearing patients. The G2 turns nearby speech into live captions shown in your field of view, so you can read a conversation while still looking at the person speaking.
Even Realities says the G2 uses four microphones and AI voice isolation to pick up speech up to about 10 feet away, even in noisy places like restaurants. It is designed for everyday situations such as meals, meetings, classrooms and live performances, and Even Realities rates the battery at about two days.
Because the captions sit inside the lens, fit and prescription matter. Our licensed optician takes your measurements and orders your G2 lenses to your prescription, including progressive lenses, so captions and the world around you both stay sharp.

What are visual hearing glasses?
Visual hearing glasses are smart glasses that convert spoken conversation into readable captions displayed near the wearer’s field of view.
Are there glasses that show what people are saying?
Yes. Some smart-glasses systems support real-time speech-to-text captions so users can read spoken conversation on a wearable display.
Do Even Realities caption glasses work for deaf and hard-of-hearing people?
Yes. The Even Realities G2 shows live captions of nearby speech in your view. Many people use them alongside hearing aids, cochlear implants or lip reading.
